Originaire de Turquie, İlayda Eskitaşcioğlu est une avocate des droits de l’homme et une militante pour l’égalité des sexes. Elle a cofondé l’ONG « We Need to Talk », qui lutte contre la précarité menstruelle en fournissant des protections hygiéniques aux femmes et aux filles des communautés vulnérables, et en permettant des discussions honnêtes et ouvertes autour de la question des menstruations.
